What To For A Day In Toronto

This past summer, I was fortunate enough to finally visit my northerly neighbor: CANADA. Being from Michigan, it is somewhat shameful that it took me 19 years to visit this expansive country. But nonetheless I got to end my summer with a girls road trip to Toronto! Here are my recommendations for a fun-filled day in this lovely city.

Spend the Morning Walking Around

Toronto is filled with tons of parks and outdoor markets so exploring these is a great way to spend your morning. There is always something going on no matter what day it is, so grab your girlfriends and get exploring! The St. Lawrence and Kensington Markets and surrounding areas are great places to start!

Eat Your Way Through The City

A morning spent exploring means you earned yourself a yummy lunch. And since you’re in Canada the obvious choice is hunting down some Poutine! There are oodles of poutineries around the city so finding one is quite easy. I Yelped a few different ones ahead of time, so when we worked up an appetite it wasn’t hard to navigate to whichever one was closest to us.

Head to The Top of The CN Tower

You can’t visit Toronto without heading to the top of the famous CN Tower. Iconic to Toronto and a source for amazing views, this is an absolute must! The wait line will be long but the views are worth it!

End The Evening With A Cocktail

(Or two). Being the Harry Potter nerd that I am The Lockhart  was an obvious choice for some refreshments. I highly recommend the butter beer and the Botanist!

Over to you! What are some of your favorite things to do in Toronto?
